Gil: The most useful piece of kit I have so far is my Lightwriter as it provides me with a means of communication. It is of particular use when I'm with people who have difficulty understanding what I'm trying to say.. It displays text as I type and also has a playback feature which is quite handy if the text ihas gone beyond the screen display.
mike: I wonder what people think is the best tip or piece of kit they have found for retaining independence. I will start the ball rolling by suggesting my whole body hot air dryer which stands in the corner of the shower and cuts out the need for towels which I can no longer manipulate. Takes a bit longer but I am still able to handle all my personal hygiene

Welcome to our new Branch Blog.

This Blog is a new idea for the group and I sincerely hope that it gets used in the right way.  It is a means of reading other peoples views, comments, items of interest etc that people in the group, or from other groups, may want to share with others.  This is my first attempt at this so any comments on the layout etc would always be well received and can be made by posting the comments on the Blog or by emailing me.

Fortunately due to the bad weather of late I have been able to set this up and play around with it a bit .  If there are spelling mistakes etc than blame it on technology as I haven't found a spell checker on it as yet.

I am looking forward to seeing postings on this soon so please use and enjoy it.
